Arizona's Worldwide Lyme Protest

Protest at the Mayo Clinic

When: Friday May 16 at noon we are going to start to gather around 11:30

Where: Scottsdale, Az

State Coordinators: Laurie Myers

and Tina Garcia (L.E.A.P.)

We will be having a wellness meeting at the Courtyard Marriot with speakers featuring nutrition and minerals to help Lyme Disease symptoms

Come and share receipes get support and raise awareness for Lyme Disease treatments and research.

Oregon's Worldwide Lyme Protest

When: Saturday, May 17at 10:00am - 5:00pm in PDT

Where: Eugene, Oregon

Make your Lyme Disease Education Signs. Let's rub shoulders with our neighbors and begin to change the culture about Lyme in Oregon.7th / Pearl. We will show our signs to the 4-lanes of traffic on 7th, sing, dance, cheer and have fun. We are one block from Eugene Saturday Market, I will need folks to roam the market crowd & hand out materials. 1:00 PM Flash Mob at the new Federal Courthouse for a first ever photo of Lyme Patients laying on the steps, asking the CDC to alter their position. Wear your lime green, make your posters & come join us to help change Oregon!

"I'm holding a Lyme Disease Auction for me! The highest bidder get's to dress me as they see fit. 100% of proceeds go to Lyme Disease Eugene Oregon.

I had thought this: I'm gonna dress up a bit, kinda role play for our May 17th Awareness Day in Eugene Lab coat, green circle on the back with the logo in the middle. Water balloons for huge boobs under my lyme t-shirt, blonde wig, red lipstick and such. That way someone might wanna ~ ya know ~ watch! What do ya think, should we dress it up? Would be hella funny. Ya make em laugh, point & wave they are more likely to chat with ya.

I did this in the early '80s for HIV. We had a blast. Many people were purchased, and we raised a chunk of cash."
